Josh's first area is 2 hours by bus from the mission headquarters, Salta. I changed the map and the weather to San Pedro, and they are interactive so feel free to click on the map and go exploring. He says it is very hot. It is located between Buenos Aires and Rosario and has two rivers nearby. From my research the temperature currently is around 100 degrees and the elevation is near sea level.
